I will happily admit that I crashed out when twenty øne piløts announced the official release of their demo of ‘doubt’, after falling in love with the original track almost a decade ago from 'blurryface', and loving the demo teased during the 'vessel' anniversary live stream a couple years ago.

I discovered twenty one pilots and other ‘emo’ artists almost a decade ago, when I first began to explore music independently. I found that the darker, grittier soundscapes and vulnerable, emotional (and sometimes tortured) lyrics resonated with me in a way nothing else had.

Ten years later, I still love many of the same artists, and am aspiring to make more music following in their footsteps 🛰️⭐️🌌
